Prayer is a conversation with God. During prayer, you should address him. Give our Father your gratitude and thanksgiving for all of the things that you know you have because of him. Those things may include material things, your physical health/ well being and you can even thank him for all that you are still waiting on.
Please know that our Father is aware of what you want and desire, however, you must ask him for it. This shows that you know that he is all powerful and that you need him. There is no desired length to your prayers. You don’t have to use fancy words. The Bible says that we should pray often. God desires to be apart of every aspect of your life. When you pray to him, you are including him.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
What can you talk to God about? You can talk to him about your dreams, ambitions, fears, anger, doubts, family, friends and the list goes on and on. There is nothing too small or too big for our Father. God can handle all of your prayers! You should not feel weird or strange about praying. In fact, you should feel some relief because you are relieving/ giving your cares and problems over to our Father.
Jeremiah 32:37 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?
Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father, we come to you thanking you for yet another chance to witness another glorius day. I call today glorius because it is up to me to decide my actions and words. Please help me with my interactions with others. Sometimes people drive me to do and/or say things that I know are not right. Help me to do and say what is right, in spite of how emotional I may be. With you, I can make it and I thank you in advance for your help.
Thy will be done.
Amen.
