The Bible is a great way to get to know God. With today’s technology, you can not only find a host of apps, you can find a translation that will allow you to read and/or listen in such a way that is vital to your learning. There is absolutely nothing wrong with reading the Bible in the Kings James Version or any other translation. In fact, you may benefit by reading the Bible in several varied translations. Sure, there are plans available that will help you with establishing a timeframe to accomplish reading it in its entirety. However, remember that there’s no competition with reading the Bible. The Bible will be your lifelong companion to nurturing your relationship with God. You should expect to read it over and over again. It’s one book that you should be prepared to read just as often as you eat!
Ezekiel 36:26 a

Father God, I thank you for this opportunity to talk to you. Please help me with establishing a plan to read my Bible daily. Help me to understand what I am reading and learn more about you as I read it each day. Help me to spend the rest of my life reading your Word, the Bible, and applying it my experiences in life. I should be able to see growth in my journey and I welcome the new me that will evolve. Thank you for your guidance.
